OK all, I’m still kind of a snuff noob (about 1 full year now).  I’ve read a lot of people making lots of mixes and I’ve tried a few of my own.  So far the one I want to mention is this:  I call it the Goober (Americans know what Goobers are). Was always a movie candy for me.

    60-40 (3:2) Toque Peanutbutter:USA Chocolate.

It’s cool, the subtle back and forth between the peanut and chocolate as it sits in your nose is nice.  It seems like you get the peanut stronger at first, then more cocoa as it fades.  Very pleasant.  If you go 50:50 the chocolate is overpowering and you barely get the peanut.

Feel free to try it or tell me some of your favorite mixes.

    Also the Peppermint Patty

2:1 ToqueUSA Chocolate and Otto Glacier.  Tastes just like a York peppermint patty.  Great with coffee.

I have made countless muxes over the years, it is just another way to enjoy snuff.

Lately I have had s perpetual mix going on.  I can’t remember what I started with, but every day I add a bit of a new snuff to my snuffbox.

Right now it is mostly clove, menthol, and citrus, but it also has an occasional whisper from some random snuff I added weeks ago.

I like to make mixes also.   One of my usual ones is Poschl’s Red Bull and Packard’s Club.

What would you suggest mixing with the Toque Rustica, if you had to choose something.

I’d try it as is first you might find it ok. If you ain’t keen on the rustica try adding some McChrystals Aztec too it. I myself prefer a good tobacco snuff I have only had to mix one snuff atm that’s Dragon Brand Madras “Indian Snuff” due to the after smell of a cows backend not nice so mixed it with some Aztec to fix it worked well. Always try reading reviews for products before buying. I won’t be buying that again if that was my first indian snuff I would not have bought and others. The 6 photo Madras stuff love that its a good one that. Think if I buy more I will just stick to the madras 6photo stuff. The only thing that puts me of is I know there production won’t be as vetted as an EU manufacturing firm so will try to stick to well reputable brands. I do know yonks ago people where finding bits of metal in one brand of snuff won’t go into that tho as think it was long fixed by what I have read

Hey Zog, where you in a movie that was made, about a hotel somewhere in a northern latitude, that snows in for months at a time, and it turned out it was haunted. I freaking loved that movie, it was great for the year it was made. Man I was born in 80 and that movie was just great, I was very young when I saw it. I never thought I would run into the actor from that movie. Dang it is a small world! RedruM

I just got done grinding a Latakia, English blend pipe Tobacco, and it’s decent. I love Latakia tho, and could cut back on the pipe smoking. I can chain-smoke English Blend un-filtered pipes, and I’m waiting on a Rustica Toque order, with a menthol Toque bullet, I’m hoping to quit smoking all together. The pipe makes  my upper chest hurt and it’s scaring me to be honest. I love the pipe tobacco flavors and I smoke literally pound after pound, or 454grams in a pound I think. It’s time to quit for sure. I maybe ordering a Toque flavor to add to the 50grams of Rustica. I have not tried it yet tho.

Nope but the guy in my picture sure was. Bloody love that film, The Shining. I could however see myself at the bar there enjoying a nice whisky and good tin of snuff.

I find from years of chasing the elusive prized snuff mixture. Over the years Ive learned that snuffs of a similar genre play well together. For example Toast with Toast, Scotch with Scotch, fruit/floral with other fruit/florals and Indian white snuff with white snuff and so on.

One of my favorites is Willie Pete, Dholakia White, White Elephant, and White Horse….all Indian white snuffs and as mixed, you get a lot of the subtle differences. Just IMHO.

Also, where is everybody on this forum??? I feel like I’m talking with myself lol.

Some hardcore snuffs there. I do like a lot of Indian snuffs, Finally got round to trying more Toquesnuff ranges been mainly stocking up on my favourites from Sharrow mills for a good while F&T, WoS, Viking. So now I’m trying Toque,ToqueUSA,Otto atm I will need to try some silver dollar and artisan soon. Once I have found more things I like I will start stocking up on these too. 400g bags and probably some 50/100g bags too. From what I have tried so far I’m loving them, So no doubt I will be loading up a quite a good bit.

I’m mainly after natural, toasty, fruity snuffs. Medium to maximum strength nicotine. So any suggestions Roderick let me know, I will say tho I prefer none oiled where I can. Medium to Dry snuffs are more to my preference.

Thank you for the email the other day with the top 10 sellers. I will be getting me some more of the whiskey & honey usa soon and the toasts I bought a week or so ago. Champion snuffs those. The two new otto’s you sent where spot on too, Thanks again for those.
