This is, hands down, my favorite Schmalzler. Figs, dates, and raisins with just a little butter and maple syrup thrown in to make it sing. I can take a fair amount of it at a time, which is normal for most of the Schmalzlers I’ve tried; this one is not overpowering, however, and lacks the dried beef notes I get from certain others. Just a straight-up, pleasant sniffing experience!

I agree, it’s awesome.  Very mellow and easy on the nose too.

All of the Ottos are awesome.

I agree, the Otto line is one of Toques best! But the RedRag is missing something, I can’t put my finger on it?but when Roderick figures it out, it will rivel Red bull!

This is exactly what I think.  I just can’t put my finger on it.

Need to try it.  Only Schmalzler I’ve tried is a Bernard and had some trouble with it in my nose after falling asleep.  But it was nice when I used it.  I will see how this compares.

One of my favorite Schmalzlers hands down. Nice plum and fig nose feel. Reminds me of Dr Pepper.
