    As a longtime pipe and cigar smoker (I have yet to find a form of consuming tobacco I do not like), and recent snuff lover I was wondering what your thoughts might be on long term storage of snuff, and thereby building a snuff cellar similar to a pipe tobacco cellar in which the goal is for the tobacco to improve with age, to fight inflationary tobacco prices, etc..  I am uncertain of aging potential of nasal snuff, but with the uncertainty of availability over the long-term and tobacco prices always heading northward seems it might be prudent, especially for those in US to start cellaring snuff.  Interested to hear what everyone has to say.

    I should add…do any of you have experience of snuff that is “aged” say as compared to a fresh tin?

    What are the best ways to store snuff long term?

    What is the shelf life of a snuff in the various types of containers offered? Sam Gawith Vacuum sealed seem perfect for long term storage…more should vacuum seal IMO.

    I have some plastic pop top pill containers I bought from Ebay when I started snuffing a year ago.  I still have some Gletscherprise from my first order and it’s still good.  There’s not much left in there, but last time I hit it, it still tastes like new.  I do store it in a cool, dry, basement.
    That’s the best I can tell you.
