    What’s it like?? Is it only for mixing with others?

    Been snuffing for about 2 years now and I’d say I’m pretty much a novice still. I definitely like trying new ones but since the Rustica is only in the big bags I’m cautious to invest in it with no concept of flavor. Nicotine isn’t an issue, I’ve noticed I’ve been not feeling buzzes the way I used to so I’ve actually been searching for higher nicotine content ones so I maybe don’t have to get all stuffy as quickly (tips to avoid that would be great too lol). I live in western New York State and even the Indian reservations, as nice as their tobacco selections are, don’t have snuff so I can’t just go and try things.

    Im about to order a bag so I’ll let you know when it gets here.  I’m giving it a try because I heard the legendary soviet Mahorka tobacco was rustica strain, and that it was a really unique buzz, even though their tobacco ration was awful quality. I know its supposed to be a pretty natural flavor, and that many will mix it with their favorite scented varieties to bump up the nicotine while retaining the character of their preferred snuffs.

    I find they’re generally dark, rich and strong.  Not an all day or everyday thing for me personally, but I do like them on occasion.
    They do go great when your sipping fine Scotch or Irish whisky.  I like the Artisian Robusta best so far, awesome with my Glenmorangie Lasanta.

    That would be great! I probably won’t place my order for a bit anyways. I usually build my cart over a couple weeks while I think about things lol

    Haha Bob I need to do that. The order before last I woke up in the middle of the night all bleary eyed and did an order, was somewhat of a surprise what I got when it arrived. A pleasant surprise though, for sure.

    Bob, fellow Buffalonian here!  I have no advice regarding the Rustica – I’m new to this also.  Which local places do you frequent for snuff?  The only place I have found is Smoker’s Haven in West Seneca but they only carry one option.

    The T. Rustica 50 was in my first order, along with a T. Menthol bullet. I mixed the two and use it all day everyday. I like it, and I sniff a lot, since I need to quit or atleast cut down greatly on smoking an unfiltered pipe.

    I have tried some rustica snuff before, and I found myself enjoying it quite a bit, however I don’t see it an everyday all day thing due to it’s strength, not necessarily that it is too strong, but that it will make all other snuffs seem weak, and I use mainly Poschl snuffs.

    Rustica is a little peppery, spicy and strong. I love it.
