Greetings, fellow Texan. I too gave up cigarettes, and snuff was instrumental in me succeeding at doing so. I briefly considered gradually weaning myself off snuff, too. But ultimately I had no desire to completely eliminate tobacco (and nicotine) from my life, so I just kept right on taking snuff. Happily so.
