Just curious as a noob what you high time veterans think of bullets.  The reviews and forums I’ve seen hardly mention them.

I like them if I’m doing it on the go or at work. Now my preferred method is a paddle (I just bought a tiny spoon) and I like pretty small hits.  I’d rather do more small ones, I just enjoy it more that way and it’s easier to take if it’s a harsh snuff. Again, noob.

I like to pinch when it’s a new flavor I’m trying for the first time, but otherwise I don’t pinch.  It took a little while, but I got the hang of getting the right mount that way, it’s just too messy. I get more all over my nose and mustache than I inhale. Plus it gets all over the floor, under my finger nails, just a mess.  And I’m a mechanic, so if I’m doing it at work, my hands are often filthy anyway.

All that said, I like the bullets because they’re inconspicuous and very clean to use.  Of course I figured out some snuffs work better in a bullet than others, but one of my favs McChrystal’s O&G works great.

    Just wanted some input.  Thanks.

I’ve always found that I can never get a big enough hit from any type of bullet. I just ended up doing it constantly. Instead I use a wooden snuff box where I can tap out portions of any size (tiny to huge).

Bullets are they perfect weapon of choice for a mechanic.  But you have to improve them first. Take a sharp knife and pare away some of the plastic to make the chamber larger then pare away a little to make the dispensing hole bigger. you can get a really good bump this way.

That’s a good idea Roderick.  I tried a drill bit on one but it broke (fortunately I had a spare part).  I’ll try the utility knife on one.

Truth is, 1 or 2 small bumps is usually enough for me anyway as snus is still my primary at work.

    Thanks for the idea though.

That’s what I did and it helped. I still don’t seem to reach for one ever. pinch, spoon, or boxcar is quicker it seems.
