I leave mine in the container it comes in if I plan to use it in the somewhat near future, but I use electrical tape to seal it up so air won’t get to it, it’s easy to remove and doesn’t leave a sticky residue, for longer storage I put them according to type or flavor in  sealed vacuum bags and store in zip lock mylar bags in a cool dark place.
