I’ve just got back from my first trip to the UK in 2 years. Found some nice snuff boxes and laughed at all this rubbish about the UK not having fuel. I think it is only London that has panicked. Didn’t have a problem finding fuel.
Yeah, things are totally normal in the West Country @Roderick. My mates in London are having to queue but are getting by fine. Stupid media dramatizing things.
I thought you lived in the UK
The Isle of Man is not part of the United Kingdom. It’s a British Crown Dependency with its own government. The UK is responsible for some of its functions like it’s defence.
I learned something new. Thanks Andrew.
Constitutionally the make up of the British Isles is very complicated! The Isle of Man offers a very good environment for businesses due to its tax policies. For snuff manufactures and businesses it’s even better as the IoM was never part of the EU and avoided also the directives which banned the use of characterising flavours amongst others.

And the best thing was, that before UK left the EU, all the people working at the post office just thought it is in the EU and did not duty anything that came from there, as they thought it was UK 😆
