    I’m curious as to how everyone is gunna store their last Bernard? Both long term and or short term. I would be very appreciative of any advice and tips if anyone cares to share.

    My plan is to order 10-20+ if not more of my favourite next week and vacuum seal each individually. This will be the first time using my vacuum sealer for tobacco storage purposes. Ideally I would like to avoid removing the snuff from its original container, but am concerned that over time the plastic container will overpower the snuff. I am also unsure if I should be putting an oxygen absorber inside the bag or not, since it might also remove some scent yet could help with the plastic concern.

    Personally, I would recommend decanting the tap boxes into glass jars.  The plastic tap boxes will not be great over time with certain blends, as the oils in the snuff will begin to degrade the plastic.

    However, if you’re adamant about vacuum sealing the tap boxes, make sure you don’t over do it.  Too much vacuum will crack and crush them, and the oils in the snuff will absorb into the labels on the outside.  You may also end up with shattered plastic inside.  Ask me how I know 😏
