Pungent rum and burnt sugar take the lead on this fine but well oiled grind; gently melting away to a rich rum and raisin essence – I can’t tell yet if my brain is fooling me or if there are hints of coconut milk and perhaps lime undulating from each bump.
There is a sweet smokiness which gives visions of early dawn beach fires where gentle breezes carry the warmth of driftwood embers and brine as dawn breaks.

I was also impressed when I reawakened the experience around an hour after my last bump by drinking a coffee; offering a slightly different take on the smoke and raisin profiles; a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
