<p style=”text-align: left;”>Pontefract Priory Snuff available from Mr Snuff. This delightful English blend uses strongest black Cavendish with its partners, flue cured fermented burley, Zimbabwe mixed with bright grassy Virginia. Each leaf holds its profile so well that you can pick them up very distintivly yet the blend together seamlessly to give the nose a full tobbaco boquet. The black Cavendish pushes forward gushing with vanilla cacoa tones mixed with an earthy chocolate earthy scent she shows her wares with a full on roasted flavour smoothing the tongue before her partner the wonderful flue cured burley with her deep salty fermented tones pushes her way to the front to temp you with her bright sweetness making your mouth moisten. Easily seen wearing her golden dress bringing a bright colour to the mix. The fermentation is long and helps to develop a bright sweetness to temp the taste buds, just when you think its all over the distinctive Zimbabwe leaves flutter into the dance exhibiting her character rich in coco, earthy with a touch of maltiness bearing some fruit this marries well with the grassy bright Virginia lending some citrus if you look for it. This brand are experts in getting these profiles to marry into a glorious base then comes a strong black licorice root swirling amongst the leaf giving a tanginess simular to period or ouzo pushing up a very nice sweetness from the syrup it was steeped in then extracted in alcohol. I love this fine leaf with all its multi sweet licorice leaves that easy to use and sits very well in the nose. One of the best in my collection that I highly reconend
