I must admit i was so excited to get my sticky little paws on this one. Donning my best floppy hat and duffle coat I sat on my suitcase as fond memories of Paddington bear can to mind with his beloved marmalade sandwich sitting under his hat. Seriously though, I was cock a hoop to get my hands on Toques Toast and Marmalade. Upon opening the tin, I was greeted by a strong waft of oranges that immediately brought fond memories of my childhood favorite bitter seville orange marmalade to mind. Yes, its true to its name and you even get a lovely smell of its base tobbaco coming through. Its light in colour and as fine in texture as a good quality toast should be, so far, im really impressed. On the pinch its got a little moisture to it and is as silky to the touch as the best stocking we ladies don but in the nose, this little tin of joy does its best to seduce your taste buds. The orange has a delicious tangyiness to it. I get a full on bouquet of orange zest and blossoms dancing a tango together, each dancer acting as one as they send strong signals to the brain of times past when as a child I eagerly dug into a pot of my favorite marmalade so its extremely true to its description. Its dry in texture but not so that it’s hard to use, infact its very easy on the nose and sits there beautifully. You get a typical toast burn that gets the nose glowing nicely then the base flour starts to unfurl with that wonderful toque toasty taste. Yes this is toque at its best, yes I would highly recommend it and yes, a certain little bear with his floppy hat would definitely recommend it 👌 im the lady snuffer and im well known on the snuff forums on Facebook for my honest reviews and I say to you all to go buy it, you will not be disappointed 😉
