@Roderick any plan on stocking the American Scotchs? Or is the current legislation too much of a barrier?
Spanish Gem is ok. I think it uses the same base flour as Quit.but I might be wrong. It’s sweet but not too cloying sweet like some of the fruits and florals.
I think as far as pure nicotine absorption rate(passing through the mucosa into the blood), the Indian whites come out on top due to their ultra fine grind. Finer than toasts making absorption fast. Big pinches of something like white elephant or Dholakia White or Willie Pete usually does the trick when I’m focused on pure nicotine content
In second place, I’d put the toasts there.
but that’s just my humble opinion and everyone’s biology is different I enjoy the toasts more for taste
I find from years of chasing the elusive prized snuff mixture. Over the years Ive learned that snuffs of a similar genre play well together. For example Toast with Toast, Scotch with Scotch, fruit/floral with other fruit/florals and Indian white snuff with white snuff and so on.
One of my favorites is Willie Pete, Dholakia White, White Elephant, and White Horse….all Indian white snuffs and as mixed, you get a lot of the subtle differences. Just IMHO.
Also, where is everybody on this forum??? I feel like I’m talking with myself lol.
I get vanilla and chocolate on the same Quit base flour.
I’m a big American Scotch enthusiast. Is the SD Scotch as smokey as a plain scotch like WE Garett, Rooster, Bruton? I’ve been thinking about giving it a try on my search for a snuff out there that can stand toe to toe with the Amercian variety. thx.
American scotchs. They are not completely gone but certainly out of reach for the foreseeable future. They are as good as gone from my neck of the world.
Sharrow Grand Cairo and Toque SP Xtra. Sharrow Best Dark and Best SP.
Sharrow SM Blue and SM500 are decent. I like O&G because it has more depth. Hedges is OK, but is really one-dimensional with the strong menthol scent.
