TVc15 I just posted in the marketplace, but I have a year old Coffee Kick large tin that I’ve only hit a few times I’ll part with.  I don’t like it.  I’ll trade for just about anything.

Sadly, not for a while. My friend in India has returned to the UK. I am chasing new leads.

Good day, I’m brand new to snuffing. I quit cigs after 35 years. I’m in the USA and researching snuff was hard. Here it’s dip, UK it’s snuff. Finally figured out and ordered a lot. 3 different places. Non-menthol. I got 1st one yesterday. Never snufffed in life remind you. I got Thor’s Hammer. It has good flavor but I inhaled too hard. Got method down now. But, it’s messy. My nose and sinuses were caked with it. Love taste, flavor, but maybe I’m doing wrong or this is a messy brand. Ordered a variety and will be here soon. Maybe this is a messy snuff. Or is this it?

Different brands and styles of snuff will have differing levels of messiness, complicated by how much is being used (as an ex-smoker, I use a hell of a lot in comparison to some others), but we all have encrusted nasal passages and moustaches if we don’t keep it cleaned up with a handkerchief or Kleenex.  I can run through two handkerchiefs in a day.

Over time, the tobacco will naturally slide down and out of the nostril, requiring wiping away.  We also (usually) blow the older tobacco out of our noses before adding more.  It is a balancing act, really.  If you keep at it you will find a natural rhythm that works for you.  Hopefully, this rambling helped a little

thanks for help on messy.. I found rinsing with little water during day helps. It also brings out a lot of the smells and flavors after rinsing. As you stated, ex smoker as I am and I also using quite a bit of snuff since started. A shower helps to loosen as well. I have sinus history so what also helps if lots of build up, is put a puddle of hydrogen peroxide on palm of hand. Inhale then pinch nose for a minute. Everything will come out after. Can be a little much so use peroxide sparingly until comfortable. Wouldn’t do too often as can throw off biofilm in sinuses.

I cannot praise enough the Netti pot.  I sometimes get a little too carried away and completely block both nostrils. I have one in the office and one at home.  A little saline solution and you will breath again.

Hiya Roderick, I have a question that comes to mind sometimes. With all the Toque inventory at your fingertips daily, which Toque do you find yourself pinching more than the rest?  Or possibly does tasting batches, which must occur, keep your nicotine jones at bay ? Perhaps a better question is , when you leave the shop which snuff most often travels with you in the box?  Also just because a guy owns a restaurant, doesn’t mean he doesn’t eat at other restaurants. Which snuffs from other makers do you use?

For the past month or two, the one I have been carrying is Red Bull.  I am trying to figure out why it is the worlds number one snuff.  And how I can copy it with Red Rag.  As sorts go, I keep moving on to the next project.  I have a new Artisan I am working on, and I keep pinching the new Artisan range.

Yes, it really works for me. Not only does it clear the old snuff from my nose but it helps me breath more easily in bed, and hence sleep better.

I’ve had sinus issues my whole life and the snuff to clear then netti pot rinse has helped me a lot.  I use medicated spray a LOT less now.

Anyway, I have a question for you Roderick.  Will Snubie ever come in bigger quantities?  Or is it a temporary thing?

Just wondering, I like it a lot.   I would put a 25g on my next order if I could.

While I’m on it, I would like to see ToqueUSA come in 25g too.

I will ask Snubie and if they say yes then we could do them.

Roderick what does your new Brill snuff taste like? There’s nothing in the description, flatfish? Just wondering

The official description is now working.  I can only add that Allan was a real menthol fiend.  He loved strong menthols but liked them to have a little extra.  This one has all his favourites.  Strong Menthol, Camphor and a hint of Peppermint.  I hope you all like it.

Damn!, That sounds right up my alley. I’m gonna order some, but seriously Brill is a fish, unless it means something else on your side of the pond😁

Allan, would have roared with laughter at that one.  He wouldn’t have minded at all, and would have come right back at you.

    Hi 1U.XO,

I am so sorry, I doubt very much you will get your order.  I hope I am wrong.  We had to remove Peru from our mailing list as nothing was getting through.

    #15427

Damn, such a shame. How about to Argentina or Chile? I often travel there.

It is the same, however I will speak to our new shipper.  Maybe he has a way past the govt customs people.
