    @killasnooze

    Not sure if you’ve considered this business strategy, but I’ll never buy a thing from any company that think it’s acceptable to spam forums or groups in which they don’t otherwise participate. If your company has no consideration for people or the platforms they choose to frequent, then I wouldn’t expect those people to have a shred of respect for your company – I most certainly don’t.

    I like how you’ve picked up the slack with Toque snuff reviews 😀

    50+ years and 745 snuffs is quite a bit of experience. What have been the stand out products you’ve tried in that time and which snuffs do you fall back on as dependable for day to day use?

    Unfortunately Pfalzerland snuff is no more – a victim of the EU’s newly expanded track and trace system, the cost of which has claimed the scalps of several esteemed snuff makers. It may be possible to find some tins still available from German retailers, but German government interpretation of EU legislation prevents those retailers shipping outside their own country.

    Wilson’s tins are terrible and prone to corrosion if moist snuff is left in them for any length of time. Santo Domingo is an excellent snuff – think Brunswick or Viking Dark Rappee with cedar and violet popping as it airs a little. I’d recommend trying again if you’re a fan of dark, moist snuff.

    I like the Ozona fruit range, but find a slightly unpleasant note appears in them after a few minutes. That note is absent from the Otto fruit snuffs, so I refill Ozona tap tins with Otto.

    When you state that Green Drangon ‘blows it away’, are you getting a lime note from Green Dragon? That would be an interesting take on the snuff.

    I can’t discern much, if any, difference between Viking Dark Rappee and WoS Brunswick and I keep plenty of the latter on hand.
