“I’m not even worried about tracking” says me, until it’s about 15 days out and I’m getting curious.

Social Media has become the Newspeak trainer for the sheople. I honestly wish it would fail miserably and fall in on itself.

Germany, sadly is in full swing with the vivid narrative, and outside of Germany, we are having a hard time getting it. The co-worker I mentioned has switched over to Hedges for now. He’s not as pleased with the L260 as the RB. But you take what you can get. I’ve never had the pleasure of trying Chief Bull, and this may be the first I’ve heard of it.

FB is about to change. I’m curious to see what happens to tobacco posts/groups after the big move. There’s just nothing like a nanny to keep you in check, for your own good. It’s a private platform, so it’s their rules. We don’t have privacy when we’re posting to a SM site with a Big Brother type of cronyism. I honestly hope meta is a huge failure. Zuck can’t even control the algorithms he put in place. Posts that are completely innocent get picked up and removed by them all the time. This doesn’t happen in forums or MeWe. We should all be thinking about dismissing FB for what it is, and I hope we’re all saying the same thing I am… “I’m only still here, because the rest of you won’t leave…”. I hope they do boot us out. I hope they fall from their perceived grace (it’s just a pious belief that their acting in our best interest, after all). I deleted their app a long time ago, and only use the browser, but at some point, we all need to get on the same page, and not theirs.

I like looking at women, and I like talking about women, and I even enjoy a nice nudey pic from time to time, but I DON’T click on porn links and I don’t go looking. Porn is a destroyer. Men are visually stimulated and if ya keep looking at those skinflix, you probably won’t even get a stiffy for your real feel lady. May as well sit down next to the old farts down in limberdick park and play dominos and checkers, then go back to your fantasy website again. 😄

I will have to order a few other rappee tins for comparison. Any suggestions, Roderick, anybody?

I don’t have the most discerning nose, And I’ve never even tried a rapee. I don’t know if that’s an advantage, or a disadvantage. I’m always game to try something different, though. There’s a lot of guys out there who are rapee Connoisseurs, who might be more help, but I’m here if you need me. Always. 😉

If you feel you have a genetic predisposition, you should do what you can to prevent it, right? So, I will continue in my belief that aluminum causes brain disorders, and I don’t expect a following. It’s my preference to not cook with, ever, or handle aluminum on a daily basis. I’m not afraid to buy in a toque tin, as it hasn’t begun oxidation and transference is practically absent. We all have our preferences and this is one of mine. I wish it hadn’t become such a topic, really, and I should have not mentioned it. But I am passionate about natural health, though it’s a hard row to hoe in this FDA controlled food industry. Meat and veggies are all I prefer to eat, and those are questionable. But I’m content to decant snuff. It’s ok. The performance of the Toque tins are second to none, and I DO wish they were steel, or even a nice grade of plastic. The old Singletons Super Menthol tap tin has become a favorite of mine. But this is just me. I expect no one to change, least of all Toquesnuff, though Roderick has an amazing customer service, I am just one person.  Everyone loves the tins. I can change a lot easier than he can change an established favorite. Waiting on those German snuff/tap boxes to show up in accessories. I believe those may be a great option.

They are the best tins of the industry snuffs. No doubt. I order a few, but I don’t carry them, and usually decant. It’s my hang up. I don’t expect anyone to follow, and I don’t expect Roderick to change to a different tone for one guys perception. I’d be happy if they were steel but I’m ok with it, as is. I probably started something that really isn’t much of an argument, and wasn’t really intending to. 😏

I don’t think there is any rustica in Red Bull, but aside from that, I’m ordering 20 of those tappers at a time for a coworker, who is using it to quit smoking. He uses 1+ a week. It does have a good nic hit and satisfies his need. He’s actually going through them quite slowly, to my surprise. And the 7g tappers are a nice size for carrying. I’ve been using a singletons SM round tapper, since it has a nice size dispensing hole, and I don’t have to fight it, but I wish the RB tapper hole was a bit bigger, and I would continue with them. Perfect size. Waiting for Roderick to get the German tap/pinch boxes to try out.

@Roderick 1: Are you still working on Espresso? 2: Is there a very aromatic plain snuff, not topped, but rich in scent, like opening  a hot pressed VA or maybe even a perique blend  that could be made? And I’ve been tinkering with the idea of something “malty”… so I might have to come up with another bespoke.

I don’t know if you’ve tried Grand Cairo, but that’s a bergamot bomb. I can imagine, Sir Roddy can handle that for you. And with the lower moisture, you’re gonna be able to stretch that 400g a long way.

He does a great job. Be very specific about strength of scents added and you’ll get a great snuff. I had one done with the scents of Tiger Balm and it was great, but POWERFUL. Also had one done, I call Fat Ginnie, with menthol camphor and just a bit of juniper berry. It was a home run. Great stuff.

I would love to see a toque version of a dark, just as you described, but I’ve been hunting something with a richer aroma than they’ve been. Think cheap coffee grounds against a profoundly rich coffee bean scent. This, by the way, is what I was hoping Espresso would be like, but I have craved a plain, that I’ve never had, as well. Something with a rich scent, like a good pressed pipe tobacco cake, moist and fragrant.

DB:”Might everyone be saying the same thing?  Just leave, dang it.  In my opinion, nothing justifies willingly participating in a system of agitprop and censorship, particularly not a reason as tepid as “it’s what my friends use””

It’s not a matter of “It’s what my friends use” as much as a matter of never being able to communicate with friends and family. Posting anything on FB is no different than writing on the bathroom wall in disappearing ink. But it’s a communication line, and that’s pretty much all. I get what you’re saying, but #Imadowutido… 😉

It’s no secret, ol’ Al/Olie/PF loves me some menthol. I want to love a plain, but I have not come across a rich plain that really moves me. Quit is good, but I’m not “in love”. Best one if tried, so far. I really tried hard to love Kendal plains, but just don’t. Need to order a few more to try.

I would be happy if FB utterly failed and collapsed into ash. The only reason I’m still there, is the others WON’T leave. Why is it, no matter the aggression/repression one receives, they feel like They can’t leave? Too much time invested? Too many friends/followers? No matter how much people perceive that FB is the paragon of social media, it is oppressive to their free speech, invasive to their privacy, and dangerous in their manipulation. As far as usability, it is the shining diamond, but that’s only the illusion that hides the malicious intent. How do we make this a home for snuffers? I’m not sure you can, but I won’t say you can’t. An app is probably the best option, but it’s also the expensive option. I think people would pay a one time fee for such an app, though. A place solely for one group of individuals, that has a modern social media platform style. But that’s a lot of money for, in all probability, a few hundred people, at most. I wish everyone had flooded over here, but it will take pushing and perks.

It seems that no matter how restrictive, invasive, and downright petty FB gets, it’s seems to be the platinum standard structure. It’s hard to pull people away. I tried to pull some to MeWe, but even those that joined never left FB, and eventually quit logging in. I never created a profile on snuffhouse, but I’ve been in this type of forum for handgun hunting and old military rifles, back in the day. The problem with this type of forum, is there’s no “feed” and no personal profile timeline. So all the the old school forum guys who started out like this are the ones who enjoy it. Very hard to draw away from #FactcheckBook

<p style=”text-align: left;”>That’s what I’m saying. But I also say, if you’ve got high BP, and you feel it every time you snuff, you might want to do something about the BP. At one point in time, I did. But I took a natural remedy. My BP was back to 120/80ish in two weeks, and I’ve been fine since. That coupled with other issues could POSSIBLY cause harm, but the snuff itself, I think is safe. 3g a day shouldn’t hurt you, but a poor diet/lack of exercise, might make it less enjoyable, if it makes you feel any sort of ill.

I love trying new foods. Especially stinky cheese, the worst of which I haven’t tried, yet. Ethnic foods from around the world, I love trying. As for my nose? Nah. It’s shite. I think it’s more the discernment of scents. Things that aren’t greatly obvious often elude me. I know it’s there, I just can’t register what it is, sometimes.
