I’m currently on a flight to Germany to visit friends and family. I’ll be hitting up a few of my local shops there to see what I can find. There are so many vape shops now and fewer tobacco shops, and even fewer that carry Schnupftabak. I’m hoping for a good few finds at places I know that carried Bernard in the past.
Bernard really is the best and it is worth the wait.
Pretty typical of you ordered something that isn’t in stock. It’s pretty much a pre-order and your order gets shipped as soon as all the product arrives. Common practice for any preorder product. I’ve currently got two Bernard preorders that I’m patiently waiting for to get fulfilled when McChrystals gets all the Bernard shipped out.
I wouldn’t worry too much, your order will ship asap when Roderick gets everything you ordered in stock.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop Roderick. I wish McChrystals posted more on their social media account to keep people in the loop. They are one of the major players at this point and Instagram is basically free marketing.
Thanks Roderick! I know I’ve got to wait for them to be in but I’d rather patiently wait than never having them at all.
To me it feels a little wrong that there is a Mr. Snuff dedicated Discord. It was supposedly started by someone without Mr. Snuff knowing, but something feels off about that. If you have no affiliation with a brand and want to make an online place for snuff users why then label it as an official place of that brand. Why not have it be a totally unbiased brand removed online presence for snuff fans?
I must have been looking at the site as you were adding them to the site, because now everything is labeled as back ordered available for order which answers my question.
Hi, I just noticed the entire line available for purchase. Is this a preorder situation similar to Mr. Snuff, or are they actually available?
If it’s a preorder what is the anticipated turn around time?
thank you for any information you can provide and all you do for the snuff world.
Never mind. Found it. I was confused and was expecting more of their product line. Now time to order!
Where do we preorder? I don’t see anything under McChrystals or Bernard.
Thank you for all you do! A a point of reference for anyone interested all my orders to California arrive in 12 days.
Mine has sat for two weeks since the order arrived and this was my first pinch from the tin.
I’m a big fan of the Gletscherprise. It’s perfect for days when you’re a little stuff up, and lovely on cold winter days. It’s my go to snuff when skiing.
Just saw the Instagram update, the Pfälzer partnership fell through and they are shutting down as well.
I love how Roderick is basically saying “Yeah I’ll sell it and ship it to you, but you ok man?”
I just got notification that my Bernard bulk order got shipped and just received tracking. Thank you Roderick, you’re amazing for making one last order happen!!
Welcome! Remember to sniff gently as if smelling a flower and you’ll save yourself from a blast of mentholated snuff hitting the back of your throat.
@Blergs Honestly, that wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve never been to India, but you are not the first people to tell me about the “scents” of India.
I do pretty much the same. I’m not so much a fan of drip and tend to blow my nose after about 5-7 minutes to clear everything out and prep a new pinch. I love the scents and feeling of snuff and that’s what I “chase” when pinching. I also enjoy being able to still breath 😆
I got into snuffing from my German family while working on the farm and they taught me it’s the easiest way to conceal the scent of cow shit while making the long days a little more relaxing.
Honestly I’m in favor of anything that would keep Bernard, Rosinski, and Pfälzer in production.
Did you pay for the extra tracking? I’m not sure if 5 tins qualifies for the free tracking.
Currently reading my Precalculus textbook as I prepare for finals. Going back to school at 40 with two kids is rough.
Even better would be “Now introducing the new Bernard line from Toque” 😂 one can dream right?
<p style=”text-align: right;”>I’d check your email or you spam box. The tracking doesn’t show on the site, but rather via a second email from Deutsche post.
I keep hoping Pöschl buys Bernard or their recipes to keep their snuffs alive.
Yeah, I feel like the snuff bullet just makes people here in the states think you’re doing illegal drugs. I also am not a big fan of the delivery.
Stocking up on both Rosinski and Pfälzer. I did hear a rumor that Pfälzer found a way to carry on. Not sure how true that is and stocking up just to be safe.
Were there any Bernards in the order? If so, then that could be the issue. I plan on making one last bulk Bernard order and, hopefully, some Pfälzer if they get back in stock, and I’m already planning on it taking about a month to get here. I’m estimating 1-2 weeks just for the order to get fulfilled and then, of course, the shipping time.
Your order going to the US doesn’t matter since it was over $50. What is likely the issue is, as Roderick stated, they have to wait 24 hours to get the ball rolling on getting things out the door. Then, you also have to wait for Deutsche Post to update. If I remember correctly, from my most recent order, it was about 72 hours before I got tracking information. I would also recommend checking your spam folder. For whatever reason when my tracking info came it went right to my spam folder.
Patience is hard when we’re waiting for our vitamin N to arrive. I check myself constantly, refreshing tracking and email, hoping for new updates. It’s similar to waiting for Christmas as a child. Mine is currently sitting in a sorting center after clearing customs, and I’m just waiting for Sunday to be over, so mail workers on Monday will give an update to the status.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Again depends on what you purchased. If there are Bernard snuffs in there it could be 1-2 weeks since they are back ordered. In my response one of my orders was on the 29th and took 6 days to make it to the post. My general rule of thumb is to always order when I’m down to 1.5 left on tap boxes.
That kinda varies on what you are purchasing and where in America you live. I placed an order on the 29th of last month and on 1st of April and then, according to Deutsche Post, left their shipping center today 4-4. I live in California, and I’m guessing it will be here roughly on the 16th of this month. I’m not sure if that answers your question or not.
