I stumbled upon that article a year or two ago. Never looked back.

My understanding is Poschl doesn’t use alkalizers. That means no matter how much nicotine the tobacco has you’re not going to get much from it.

I’ve often considered adding alkalizers to them. I think i’ll try it soon. Could be a real game changer.

@roderick I noticed Amostrinha is no longer available for back order? Are you not doing that anymore?

@Roderick I put in an order with some back ordered Bernard’s. Will there be separate shipments or will you wait until the back order is fulfilled before shipping everything?

They are made in Britain which is no longer a part of the EU. Seems only small companies within the EU are going to have to shut down.
i was wondering this myself and then remembered Brexit. Thank God. I needs my Gawith snuff and pipe tobaccos!!!

I use 84% boveda packs in an ammo can for a humidor (here in Utah it’s too dry for a traditional humidor, only air tight things work). Would you say that’s enough humidity, @roderick?

2-3 in the am. 2-5 throughout the day. 4-8 at night. I’m more occasional than most but I’m also a pipe smoker and  work at my brick and  mortar. So I get my nicotine other ways mostly. But snuff is special.

my question is how many times do people do a thorough cleaning (more than just blowing your nose) per day?

    1. Just my experience:

I was storing some Gawith in Mason jar’s and  some opened tins in zip lock Mylar bags. It’s been about a year.  I found the ones I kept in the bags to not loose flavoring. The Black Arabica i stored in a jar mostly smells like silky dark with a hint of coffee. Elmo’s reserve and Madagascan same thing.  No where near where it used to be. Don’t really understand how that happened.  As for the unflavored stuff they still are great.
From now on I’m keeping all Gawith in tins in Mylar bags

The electric tape idea is a great tip. Thank you

Why is it only affecting small German companies? Anyone outside of Germany going to shut down?

    Hey Roderick. Couple questions.
What’s the deal with the shipping (US) options?

You have one option that says
    “Free USA Priority Tracked”

    And  then one that says
    “USA Priority Tracked: $8.79”

what’s the difference? The names are the same but one is free? If the customer  chooses the pay option would it somehow be faster?

    Second question.
I’m new to buying snuff online and have an order with you (waiting to ship for 1 week) and one with mr snuff (waiting to ship for 2 weeks). I got a tracking number for each but they have been sitting waiting to be given to usps for like a awhile now. I’ve gathered that’s because orders need to be imported to the US first, yes?

Do you wait until you get enough orders to justify importing from EU/UK  in a big batch to the US and then ship US orders from there or do you ship orders from the EU/UK as you receive them?
