Marc, it is best to do 2 smaller ones as we are seeing some bigger ones getting seized by customs.

The only places at the moment that are safe to ship to, are France and Italy.  The Netherlands and Sweden were good but 2 orders to both countries have recently been seized.  Crazily, one of the Swedish ones said snuff was banned in Sweden.  Germany is a nightmare, and Spain we are seeing 40% getting seized.  My advice is try a very small order as they appear to have more of a chance to get through.

No, won’t be a problem.  But do you need to order that much.  I only ask as I don’t want you to be ordering more than you need.

So Sad, Bernard’s have closed earlier than I expected.  We have had to put all we have into stock and stop the backorders.

Yes, that won’t be a problem.  We only have a 2 kilo limit for America and Canada

I have been hoping that Bernard’s would work with Grimm & Triple but I asked Toni and he said no, they are still closing.

Hi Liang,  I just checked and your order didn’t go tracked as it was quite small. I would start looking for it in another week.

    Hi Ed,

I am happy to welcome you to the Innercircle.  This has been a quite secret forum for a while, but it is becoming more mainstream as the restrictions on our normal forums grow.

Bernard’s say they will be available til the end of May, and because we will then buy everything that is left we should have stock for a few months after that.  However, at the rate it is turning over now, it may not last that long.

My wife is the avid reader in the family and reads a couple of books a week.  I thought starting this club would encourage me to read a little more but my first choice was a disaster.  I hated it and struggled with how slow it was. I gave it to my wife who has made a start and swears she will finish it.

I have to stop lying in bed reading my iPad.  I am just about to finish Alice Robert’s Ancestors, which has been a fascinating read, but then I love archaeology.

I think I should try something like Noon, to get me back in the swing, and short stories might be the key.

We start packing as soon as we get the order.  Legally we are supposed to wait 24 hours for payment to clear.  Ingleheimer is correct in saying if an item is on back order we have to wait until we get it from Germany.  Normally, we have stock but with all the small german snuff makers closing at the end of May, keeping stock is proving a little crazy.

It is supposed to be orders over $50 that get free tracked shipping but, we often find an order is quite heavy and it is the same price to ship tracked, so that is what we do.

You can also choose tracked on small orders and pay extra for tracked.

I think he, Jaxon’s, has been nobbled by the competition as he won’t reply to orders or emails.  If it help’s, swap for Wilson’s of Sharrow.  Not saying anything.

We took back order off as we thought we had enough stock.  How wrong we were.  Back order is back on.

    Rob,

You should try our ToqueUSA Whiskey & Honey.  It is one of the highest strength snuffs available.  Another tip is Toque Quit this is made with stemless, for added strength.  You can also blend Quit with Rustica as this helps boost the nicotine uptake.

They usually ship when the back order is filled.  Alternatively, we could ship and then add to another order when they come in.  You would have to email with that request. It is just too costly to do two shippings.

I’ll try and remember to let you know. I’ve ordered all 4 and they should be in, in around 2 weeks.   Ordering from Germany is really slow.

Adrian,  Now you can order them by back order.  We then know how many extra we need to order weekly.

I have to say I agree.  A humidor is the best and only way to store tobacco long term.  I have said it before how easy it is to make one.  I have bought loads over the years from paying silly money for my first and peanuts for my last.  I also have a couple of home made ones that really are the best.  Fill a jar with boiled and cooled water, pierce the lid with lots of pin wholes and place in a large sealable container and surround by snuff.  Every 6 months change the water.  Simple and perfect.

We are about to introduce a back order system to help us cope with the demand for German snuffs.  Once an order is placed it may take 2 -3 weeks to be dispatched but it guarantees your will get any amount you order.

Don’t worry, I didn’t see it as offensive in any way.  In my awkwardness I didn’t get the joke and just wanted to help.  We are as bad as each other.
