Yes, unbelievable. Shame it was such a cheap cologne. We are getting this replaced by DHL/Evri. I would love to see the face of the person who got your snuff.
Fusa,
We can’t find an order from you. Can you email an order number so we can find and fix your order?
Hi Fusa,
I’m sorry you feel that but if you email me roderick@toquesnuff.com I will sort it for you.
Fusa, Contact me roderick@toquesnuff.com we always look after our customers and we will look after you. We have had some problems with the new courier Evri miss labelling parcels, and we are claiming back from them.
Hi, I am not sure who you are but my direct email is roderick@toquesnuff.com. If I haven’t responded already please email me with your order number and I will find out for you.
Hi Johnathan, No it is not normal. We will have missed your email. Please can you email me roderick@toquesnuff.com and add your order number so I can find it.
I am sorry, the Royal Mail is really struggling to get UK mail to Europe. This is why we are so far behind. I think I told you we have switched to DHL and EU orders have been arriving, though one French customer told me they had to pay €10 to get their order.
The EU has another idea and from July they will charge all EU customers who buy from outside the EU €3 on all orders under €150. We are going to have to add this at the checkout.
I hope to have your tracking number this week and it will be emailed to you.
Yes, we have your order and it has been delayed by new EU postal charges. We have switched to DHL pre paid taxes and we hope this will work better. My email is roderick@toquesnuff.com please let me know when it arrives.
I don’t know. I tried contacting them after MrSnuff got some but they never got back to me.
If you go to your account, you will see the order is partially completed. We order tubs on the 14th and 28th to make sure customers get very fresh snuff. As you had 2 orders at the same time packing thought they would do you a favour and send both together rather than have you wait for the Tub. This will be ordered tomorrow and be sent as soon as it comes in.
Sadly, they just didn’t sell well on Toque. I thought it might have been because we are a snuff site but, they sold really well at the beginning and just fizzled out.
We’ve got lots of spares. Next time you order email me roderick@toquesnuff.com
I am really not sure. Even the shipping companies have no idea. The first test batch got through but I ‘ve heard nothing more. WE had the first tutorial From DHL on Tuesday after getting all the passwords and login details last week, but now they say they have found an issue with their system. God, I hate trump.
Sorry I missed these. As we are a much smaller concern than MrSnuff, they got priority. We keep chasing DHL and finally, today we are getting a tutorial on how to use the new system. The cost of shipping has gone up quite a lot but we will get there, please bear with us.
I have been told we will start shipping again in the first week of September.
I think it will be fresh. In Europe snuff companies can’t use words like “Supermint” or “Raspberry” and swap them for “Glacier” or “RBY”. In the USA there is no such stupid rules. And as for us we are also not restricted by the EU as the Isle of Man was never in the EU.
Nothing yet, I am waiting to hear from DHL and the Manx Post (Royal Mail).
Crudo, please can you email me roderick@toquesnuff.com and I will get to the bottom of this.
Good to hear Tony.
That’s really bad news. Spain used to be so good. Hopefully, you will get it or we will get it sent back. I think from now on we are going to have to send fully tracked. It might mean more getting caught by customs but at least we will know what is happening with orders.
Toque was the original snuff we started with back in 2006. We kept expanding the range and when we started selling Silver Dollar in the USA I felt we should make a ToqueUSA aimed more to American tastes than English. Then I had an idea back in 2020, I felt I wanted to set-up an Artisan website for the smaller producers to have their say. I also wanted to flex my imagination and make some more artisan snuffs.
At this point my then business partner took umbrage and told me I was going into competition with him and he wouldn’t allow any artisan snuff makes to sell to me. I think he had a bit of a nervous breakdown as he was going through a really hard time, he had been a really great guy up until that point. After he told me to move out and he would destroy me, I felt a little sad. But that drove me to create more Artisan snuff and also to create Otto.
Artisan Snuffs are what I would call our luxury snuffs made with the highest quality tobaccos and exceptional flavourings. Otto is a very Germanic style of snuff well oiled and very easy to take, it was created to be sold in America when Poschl withdrew, but after spending $1,000’s on lawyers we got nowhere. Now Otto is a brand of its own and doing rather well.
If you have any questions I am happy to expand.
Hi Tony, Welcome to the forum. we are always open to ideas. you can email me at roderick@toquesnuff.com
I have had a hint, it might be next week. I understand they have had a number of issues.

The snuff world is such a small playground, sadly bullying/control is going to take place.
Me too. We used to have a really great espresso snuff that was just like fresh roasting beans, but over the years the quality of the flavouring slipped so much that we couldn’t continue making it. I am constantly trying to find one that is up to my standard, and will continue until i do find one.
Ingle, I love customers like you, who answer their own questions. LOL!
Yes, they can all be ordered in advance of arrival next week. The laugh is we have virtually sold out already and are going to have to place another order on Monday.
My main concern is freedom of speech on internet forums. Right now it is Tobacco, next it will be alcohol, what then?
When Toque first started we had bullets that looked like a chefs hate and a friend said they were called Toques in Canada. One of my favourite rock songs was Steve miller’s “The Joker”, who was a midnight Toker. A small toke was a little puff of grass, and today a Toque is now a small pinch of snuff. Many thanks to Steve Miller and Canadian Chef’s.
Not mental, brilliant!
