I average about a gram a day.  Allergy season I do very little and winter I do more. I think it’s good to take a day or 2 off once in a while also.

And to Rob, I use bullets all the time and have since I started snuffing (over 3 years now), and I’ve never had one fail like that.  I have had the cap or bowl come off and all the snuff loose in my pocket, but that’s it.

Don’t waste your money.  It’s garbage.  Never a consistent hit and it leaks more in you’re pocket than you’ll sniff.  I got one when I started snuffing and it’s been sitting in my drawer since because I haven’t thrown it out yet.

Sorry I didn’t see this sooner, I could have saved you some money and time.

Just get yourself a bullet or an old fashiones snuff box and pinch it.

I have a bunch in mason jars (I have dozens of jars in different sizes), I have some in airtight plastic pill type cases and I also do the electrical tape thing rustilley mentioned.

I ordered a ton when I started and I still have a whole lot left.  Some of the ones in the plastic containers have picked up just a hint of a plastic scent after like 2 years, but it’s all still reasonably fresh and pleasant to take.  The mason jar stuff is still great after years, though I make sure not to open the jars that often.

You’re right on Biergs.  I think the USAs are better for beginners and I still like some of them, the Citrus and peach are amazing, and the lime is great with tequila (don’t judge me, I like the term functional), but the standards are more all day type snuffs for me now.

I think the USAs I mentioned have a touch of menthol in them.  Not enough to say they’re menthol snuffs, but just a hint.

I’d guess probably 8.  It is a good one, but not an all day every day type for me.

I still hit it quite a bit though.  It is one pretty unique snuff.

I put large amounts of open snuffs in glass mason jars, and I have some in little plastic pill boxes.  I’ve had some for coming up on 2 years now and they’re fine.  I think there’s a hint of plastic smell in some of the pill case ones, but they’re still fine as far as flavor and moistness.  I have some tins I keep in heavy duty ziplock bags when not in use as well.

They are stored in a cool dark basement if that matters.

I bought a lot of large amounts when I started because I’m just like that.

I keep half a year’s worth of snus in my basement freezer at any given time too.

I’ve been pinching more lately and you’re right Brian, it is nice to regulate exactly how fast it goes up.  I still love the bullets for on the road though.

My suggestion is cast a wide net.  Try a lot of flavors and see what you like.  Keep some of the flavors you don’t like (I store them in my basement in an airtight container) and try them a year from now because you will find your tastes change a little.
